Enterprise Platform Overview

The Enterprise API transforms Sticitt from a simple payment processor into a Wallet-as-a-Service platform.

Unlike Payment Integrators who simply push money from A to B, Enterprise Partners have the ability to create and manage the accounts themselves. You can programmatically onboard Merchants (Schools, Shops) and issue Wallets (Students, Parents), effectively building your own white-labeled financial ecosystem.

Core Capabilities

  1. Merchant Aggregation: Onboard schools or vendors programmatically and manage their settlement details.
  2. Wallet Issuing: Create digital wallets for your users instantly.
  3. Closed-Loop Payments: Execute internal transfers between your issued wallets and your merchants without external switching fees.
  4. Data Ownership: Access granular transaction history for all entities under your management.

The "Open vs. Closed" Ecosystem

One of the most critical concepts to understand is how your created entities interact with the broader Sticitt public network.

1. Merchants are "Open"

When you create a Merchant via the API, they are immediately part of the global Sticitt network.

  • Who can pay them? ANY Sticitt user.
    • A user with a generic Sticitt app can pay your merchant.
    • A user with one of your "Partner Wallets" can pay your merchant.

2. Partner Wallets are "Closed" (Initially)

When you create a wallet via the API, it is essentially a Private Ledger account. It belongs to you and the user, but it is restricted.

  • Where can it spend? ONLY at Merchants managed by you (the Partner).
  • Why? This prevents a user from taking a wallet you funded (e.g., for school lunches) spending it elsewhere.

Wallets can be claimed by the user to make them "Open", or existing Sticitt Wallets can be linked to your Partner giving you shared control over them.
